The Creamline Cool Smashers aim to keep their rhythm and open the second round on a high note as they battle the Nxled Chameleons in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Thursday, November 6, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan.
The second phase of the tournament pits the top three teams from Pool A against the bottom three from Pool B, with each squad carrying over its win-loss record from pool play.
The Cool Smashers enter the round with renewed confidence after closing the first phase at 3-2, second only to the unbeaten ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles in Pool B.
The 10-time PVL champions are coming off a commanding win over the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, highlighted by the strong frontline play of Alyssa Valdez, Michele Gumabao, Tots Carlos, and Pangs Panaga, alongside import Courtney Schwan.
The American spiker continues to be a key piece in Creamline’s attack, ranking sixth in scoring, seventh in spiking, and tenth in blocking after the first round.
With their championship experience and balanced offense, the Cool Smashers are expected to make another deep run, starting against the winless Chameleons.
The Creamline–Nxled clash serves as the first game of Thursday’s PVL double-header, with first serve set for 4:00 p.m.
