The Minnesota Timberwolves are back in action Friday with a road matchup against the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco. Minnesota is coming off a 108-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Monday. Anthony Edwards led the way with 40 points and nine rebounds, while Julius Randle added 21 points and a team-high eight assists.

Sixth in the West, the Wolves (15-9) are 6-4 in their last 10 games and 7-5 on the road this season. Minnesota is ranked eighth on offense (117.9 offensive rating) and 13th on defense (113.4 defensive rating).
With a few days between games after last playing Monday, the Wolves have used the time to reset and tighten things up, something Rudy Gobert believes will pay off.
“I’m proud of the way we’ve played overall and how resilient we’ve been,” Gobert said after practice Wednesday. “But this little stretch is definitely good for us. It gives us a chance to get our feet under us, catch our breath, work on what we need to work on and get back to playing our best basketball.”
